Yes, by now, almost everyone has learned to use the internet to find opportunities. But go further than others by applying some smart / advanced search techniques online that will help you find the best-fit opportunities - while filtering out the thousands of other postings which are a waste of time.

Also, given your educational and professional background, it takes good judgment to decide if you are being too broad or too selective i.e. wasting your energies chasing every job out there or avoiding the (sometimes dreaded!) tasks by looking for the perfect one.  A bit of sound advice and encouragement goes a long way!

    ►  Resume & Cover Letter Development

When you looking for a job, you are the "product" and your resume is the "advertisement" (and yes, the "product spec" as well.)   I am sure you have seen really bad ads, really good/ memorable ads - and then a whole bunch of forgettable ones in between!   Get some objective feedback to know where your resume lies in that range - and what you can do to make it a bit or a lot better.

Your resume needs to speak for you in the most eloquent / effective manner!   That means paying attention to the content, language, style, presentation and fit with your particular area of job search.
